Initiating Mediation

We can help resolve disputes at any stage of the litigation process  — before a case is filed in court through the appeals process.

If you have questions about timing or how to raise the subject of engaging in mediation with the other side, please contact us. We may be able to facilitate the agreement to mediate, while not disadvantaging your client.

Scheduling

Most cases we mediate require only a single day.

If you feel that more than one day is necessary, we may be able to help puzzle out whether it is preferable to schedule consecutive days or conduct a preliminary session before the final session – for example, to try to narrow the focus of the dispute and shorten the main session.
